Hey there! We're Chelsea & Derek, a.k.a The Beers. Your BOSS Box dream team! Most of the time anyways. We're a mountain dwelling husband & wife with a passion for food and fun. We're lucky to call the beautiful town of Steamboat Springs our home where we're honored to serve our local community with REAL, damn delicious food.

I'm Chelsea, a multi-passionate entrepreneur and the creative brain of BOSS Box. I'm a meal prep coach, massage therapist, and full time spiritual geek. And when I'm not in the kitchen or massage room, you can usually find me somewhere on the dance floor!

 

I developed the idea for BOSS Box during the covid pandemic. A meal prep service was a dream I had for the future. But like many things covid changed, that dream got fast tracked. With restaurants shut down and everyone panicked about food, it seemed like the perfect time. It was the perfect time to help in the only way I knew how. I started testing the idea with family and friends and quickly learned that BOSS Boxes were a hit! The demand was too much too handle on my own so I sweet talked my husband into joining the team! After a long & grueling period trying to find kitchen space with no avail, we threw caution to the wind and built our very own BOSS Box kitchen in the live/work unit that we rent. It was a little wild & crazy but we haven't looked back!

Derek is an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting, biking, skiing & cooking. When he's not in the kitchen you can usually find him hauling ass on his mountain bike or trying to find the biggest elk in the woods. Although it did take a little coaxing (your wife as your boss is hard sell!) he finally realized there was a grand opportunity for us to create the business and life of our dreams. Derek is my right hand man in the kitchen and I truly could not do this without him. He's the yin to my yang and my number one employee!
